Last updated: November 1, 2026. This vehicle pricing and fees disclosure explains how KEI Utility USA presents advertised prices, taxes, government charges, optional services and nationwide delivery costs.
We want buyers to understand the transaction before sending a deposit or final payment. The written vehicle order, invoice or signed agreement will identify the amounts that apply to a specific purchase. When a transaction-specific document clearly differs from this general explanation, the signed written terms control.
Vehicle Pricing and Fees Overview
The advertised price is the price of the identified vehicle unless the listing clearly states that accessories, delivery or other services are included. A vehicle price normally does not include every possible government charge, buyer-selected option or destination-specific expense.
Before payment is finalized, we provide or confirm a written summary that separates the vehicle price from applicable taxes, fees, optional work and delivery. Buyers should ask questions before accepting the invoice if an item is unclear.
Advertised Vehicle Price
The advertised vehicle price applies to the stock number, chassis number or vehicle shown in the listing. It reflects the known configuration and condition at the time the price is published. Different vehicles of the same year or model can have different prices because of mileage, drivetrain, equipment, condition, documents, modifications or preparation.
Unless expressly stated, the advertised price does not automatically include sales tax, title fees, registration, permits, insurance, delivery, accessories, financing costs or customer-requested work. We do not intend to add an undisclosed mandatory dealer service after a buyer has accepted a correctly written order.
Written Price Summary
A written order summary may include the following categories when applicable:
- Vehicle price.
- Sales or use tax.
- Title, registration or government charges.
- Document or transaction processing charges.
- Buyer-approved inspection or preparation work.
- Accessories, modifications or replacement items.
- Pickup, transport or nationwide delivery.
- Third-party services requested by the buyer.
- Deposit received and remaining balance.
Not every transaction includes every category. The purpose of itemization is to make the total understandable—not to create charges that do not apply.
Sales Tax and Use Tax
Tax treatment depends on the buyer’s location, delivery method, vehicle classification, documentation and applicable law. Texas transactions may be subject to Texas tax requirements, while an out-of-state buyer may owe tax or use tax in another jurisdiction.
When we are required and able to collect a tax, it will be shown on the transaction documents. When a charge must instead be paid directly to a state, county, local agency or other authority, the buyer remains responsible for that obligation. A tax estimate can change if the delivery address, registration jurisdiction or transaction structure changes.
General website information is not tax advice. Buyers with unusual commercial, agricultural, governmental or exemption questions should consult the responsible agency or a qualified tax professional.
Title, Registration and Government Charges
Title applications, registration, license plates, inspections, permits and similar charges are established by government agencies and may vary by jurisdiction. The buyer’s state may impose requirements that are not part of the vehicle’s advertised price.
Federal import eligibility does not determine state registration approval. Before purchase, review our Title & Registration Responsibility Policy and verify current state requirements. KEI Utility USA does not guarantee a particular fee, tax classification or registration outcome unless the transaction document expressly states otherwise.
Documentation and Processing
If a transaction includes a disclosed documentation or processing charge, it will appear separately before final payment. Such a charge may relate to preparing sales documents, organizing transaction records, verifying buyer information or coordinating title-related paperwork.
Government fees and business processing charges are not the same. We identify them separately when applicable so buyers can understand who establishes the amount and what it covers.
Optional Accessories and Modifications
Optional items may include tires, wheels, lift components, lighting, racks, winches, dump equipment, plows, service parts or other buyer-requested work. These items are not included unless the listing or written agreement says they are included.
Optional work requires buyer approval and may affect the final price, delivery timing, dimensions, handling, maintenance or legal classification. Special-order parts or committed third-party labor may carry transaction-specific cancellation terms. Known terms will be stated before the work is authorized.
Vehicle Preparation and Inspection Services
Any separately priced inspection, preparation, service or detailing work will be identified in writing. A used-vehicle inspection is a condition snapshot and does not guarantee that no future service will be required. Review the Vehicle Inspection & Condition Grading Standards for our inspection framework.
Routine work already included in a vehicle’s advertised price will not be presented again as a separate mandatory charge unless the written order clearly explains a changed scope approved by the buyer.
Nationwide Delivery Charges
Delivery is normally quoted separately unless a listing or promotion expressly includes it. A vehicle delivery quote can depend on:
- Pickup and destination locations.
- Transport distance and route.
- Vehicle dimensions, weight and operability.
- Open or specialized carrier requirements.
- Season, fuel conditions and carrier availability.
- Road restrictions, weather and scheduling.
- Residential, rural, jobsite or limited-access conditions.
- Winch, loading, redelivery or storage needs.
A quoted amount is based on the information available when issued. If the buyer changes the destination, vehicle, timing or access conditions, a revised quote may be required. The Nationwide Vehicle Delivery & Shipping Policy explains scheduling, estimated dates and carrier responsibilities.
Carrier, Storage and Access-Related Charges
Unexpected third-party charges can arise when a carrier cannot safely access the stated destination, the vehicle cannot be accepted at the agreed time, information is incorrect or special equipment becomes necessary. We will explain known material changes and seek buyer approval when a decision is required.
Buyers should provide accurate contact, access and delivery information. Any transaction-specific responsibility for storage, redelivery, waiting time, alternate meeting points or special handling should be documented in writing.
Deposits and Remaining Balances
A deposit is credited toward the purchase price. The order should show the amount received, remaining balance and applicable due date. A deposit does not itself transfer ownership or guarantee release before funds clear and required documents are complete.
Unless a clearly identified special-order or committed-service agreement states otherwise, deposits paid directly to KEI Utility USA are refundable until final delivery under our general policy. See the Vehicle Payment & Deposit Policy and Vehicle Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
Price Accuracy and Listing Errors
We work to keep the vehicle page, inventory feed, cart, advertisements and written order consistent. However, a technical, typographical, feed or publishing error can occur. If an obvious material error is discovered before completion, we will explain the correct information before accepting or applying final payment.
An incorrect online price does not obligate either party to complete a transaction at an unintended amount. The buyer may accept the corrected written terms or decline to proceed under the applicable cancellation policy.
Price Changes and Inventory Updates
Vehicle prices may change before a transaction is confirmed because of market conditions, newly completed work, corrected listing information or inventory status. A price is secured only as stated in the accepted written order or agreement.
Once an order is confirmed, we do not change the agreed vehicle price without a documented reason and buyer agreement, except for government charges or buyer-requested changes that the written terms allow to vary.
Merchant Center and Advertising Consistency
Product and vehicle feeds should present the same core price and availability that appear on the corresponding landing page. Taxes, delivery and optional services may be displayed separately where permitted and appropriate. If a feed becomes outdated, the current vehicle page and written transaction documents are reviewed before payment.
Advertising is not a substitute for the final order summary. Buyers should confirm the stock number, price, condition and availability directly before sending funds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the advertised price include delivery?
Not unless the listing or written offer expressly says delivery is included. Nationwide delivery is generally quoted separately.
Are taxes included in the vehicle price?
Not unless clearly stated. Tax obligations depend on the transaction and jurisdiction and are identified separately when they can be calculated.
Can the delivery quote change?
Yes, if the destination, vehicle dimensions, timing, access conditions or carrier requirements change. Any revision should be explained before it is accepted.
Do optional accessories require approval?
Yes. Buyer-requested accessories, modifications and third-party services are itemized and require approval.
What if I see a different price in an advertisement?
Contact us with the listing or advertisement. We will verify the stock number and investigate whether the difference is an update, feed delay or error.
